Choosing a focused scope for validation
Service requirements, cross-functional planning, and executive approval preparation.

How I narrowed the scopeSimplified view of the workflow
Context
The program explored prescription delivery and in-vehicle healthcare services. The initial phase needed a clear customer need and a scope that teams could validate.
Decision & trade-off
The program considered both prescription delivery and in-vehicle telemedicine. I prioritized delivery for the initial phase. It addressed a clearer customer need, while telemedicine added equipment and regulatory questions that required further work.
My actions
I visited NowRx’s operation in Mountain View and observed delivery drivers. I translated findings from customer research and field observations into service requirements, clarified responsibilities across workstreams, and developed a phased validation roadmap. I deferred telemedicine to a later phase and focused the initial business case on delivery.
Outcome
The proposal gained executive approval for a proof of concept. The teams had a defined scope and a plan to evaluate feasibility, profitability, and scalability before committing to broader development.
